Discounted internet access for qualifying families

If a member of your household participates in a federal government program such as SNAP, Free and Reduced Lunch, or Soonercare, you can receive up to $75 off your internet bill as long as funds are available. This program is for both existing internet customers and families who would like to become internet subscribers. Ready. Set. Summer! survey

Did your child participate in any Ready. Set. Summer! programming? On Monday, we will launch a voluntary student and family survey as an opportunity to learn more about your experience! Your responses will help us continue to improve our expanded learning programs during the summer and during the 2021-2022 school year. The survey will be available starting Monday, July 26. Look out for an email from your Summer Site Administrator with the survey link.

Before- and After-Learning Care enrollment closes Monday, July 26

Before- and After-Learning Care enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year will close Monday, July 26. All elementary schools in the district will offer this service free of charge in the coming year. Students must attend the program at their school of enrollment. Families can enroll their children by logging into SmartChoice at enroll.tulsaschools.org. Learn more at www.tulsaschools.org/BALcare.

Families at the following schools will not use SmartChoice to enroll and will receive information directly from their child’s school: Eugene Field, John Hope Franklin, Kendall-Whittier, MacArthur, McClure, and Walt Whitman elementaries; Unity Learning Academy; and Wayman Tisdale Fine Arts Academy.

Summer Cafe and free Wednesday meals for adults and families

We continue to serve all Tulsa children ages 18 and under breakfast and lunch meals free of charge every weekday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 14 sites throughout the district. Families who bring their child to meal pick-up do not need to show identification. Service locations are available at www.tulsaschools.org/mealsites.

We have partnered with the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to provide free meals for adults and families on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all Summer Cafe grab-and-go service sites. Families do not need to provide any type of documentation to receive a meal during this time.

Our COVID-19 Case Count for the period of July 2 - July 8 will be available here by 5 p.m. today. You can also find the COVID-19 Case Count for previous weeks on our website at www.tulsaschools.org/casecount.
