We’re excited about the new year and have many new plans coming up as well as a few reminders. Here a few things we’d like to mention:
VERY IMPORTANT: Return the orange Home Language Survey forms by Friday, September 14th.
Back to School Night – TONIGHT 6-7:30. Please come at 6:00 as you won’t want to miss out on anything tonight. The teachers will meet with the parents tonight in their classrooms. They will explain the procedures for their class and what the child is to expect for the year. You won’t want to miss out on this valuable time with the teachers.
PICTURES- September 28th: Students do not have to wear their uniforms on picture day. If you want to purchase pictures, payment must be made Friday morning before child goes to class. All students will have their picture taken but only those who have paid will get a picture packet. (These pictures will be in the yearbook at the end of the year.)
Early Release Fridays: On the last Friday of each month, school will be released at 1:00. The early release dates are: Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30, Jan. 25, 2013, Feb. 22, March 29, April 26.
Early release is being implemented on a district-wide basis to enable teachers, staff and administrators to have additional time to engage in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) , where effective teaching methods and techniques can be studied and shared. Lunch will be served prior to dismissal. You will need to make arrangements to have your child picked up early on these dates. If your child is picked up by daycare, be sure to notify them of the early pick up times.

Our Citizens of the Month will be honored at the Rise and Shine Assembly on September 24th at 7:45 a.m. Family and friends are invited to come.
School Hours: Class begins at 7:45 am. This means your child should be in class each and every morning at this time. Instructions for the day are given the first thing in the morning. If your child is late, they miss out on this important instruction time. Please bring them on time.
TARDIES: Students are to be in class at 7:45. Many students are coming in tardy (7:55). Please have your child here by 7:40 each day. (They may be here as early as 7:25.)
DAILY PICK UP: Thank you for your help in making this successful, it is running smoother every day. We feel this is a very safe way for your child to be picked up. Remember, school is out at 2:50, please be on time to pick your child up.
STAR BASE: The 5th Grade classes are involved with a Star Base Program that takes them to the Air National Guard and/or Army Aviation Support Facility once a week for 5 weeks. This is a fantastic program that will be enjoyed by Mrs. Jones’ and Mrs. Browning’s classes. Permission forms will be coming home soon for your signature.
GOOD NEWS CLUB: 3-4:30 every Wednesday. The Good News Club is sponsored by the Child Evangelism Fellowship Inc. of Northeast Oklahoma. It is open to all boys and girls, grades one through six, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend the club with their child. The Club will include Dynamic Bible Lessons, Creative Learning Activities, Inspiring Stories, and Meaningful Songs. Your child will learn Respect for Authority, Moral Values, Character Qualities, and Life Building Principals. The teachers are Christians who are concerned for the spiritual well-being of your child. They have received specialized training from CEF.
VISITORS: Please make the office your first stop. We welcome you to come to our school, however no one is allowed to go past the office without signing in. This is a safety precaution not only for your child, but for all children at Peary. Please come to the office to sign in. This is for the safety of all students.
We also ask that you only enter and exit through the front doors. Back doors are only for teacher entrance. Again, this is for safety reasons.

Nosotros estamos entusiasmados aproximadamente el nuevo año y tenemos muchos nuevos planes que surgen así como unos recordatorios. Aquí unas cosas que nos gustaría mencionar:
MUY IMPORTANTE: Devuelva las Casa Idioma Estudio formas anaranjadas en viernes, 14 de septiembre.
CUADROS - el 28 de septiembre: Los estudiantes no tienen que llevar sus uniformes en día del cuadro. Si usted quiere comprar cuadros, el pago debe hacerse el viernes por la mañana ante el niño va a clasificar. Todos los estudiantes tendrán su cuadro tomado pero sólo aquéllos que han pagado conseguirán un paquete del cuadro. (Estos cuadros estarán en el anuario al final del año.)
Viernes del Descargo tempranos: En el último viernes de cada mes, la escuela se soltará a las 1:00. Las fechas del descargo tempranas son: Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30, Ene. 25, 2013, Feb. 22, 29 de marzo, 26 de abril.
El descargo temprano está llevándose a cabo en una base distrito-ancha para permitirles a maestros, personal y administradores que tener tiempo adicional para comprometer en Comunidades de Aprendizaje de Profesional (PLCs), donde pueden estudiarse métodos instrucción eficaces y técnicas y pueden compartirse. El almuerzo se servirá antes de al despido. Usted necesitará hacer arreglos para tener su niño se metido a temprano con estas fechas. Si su niño es recogido por guardería, esté seguro notificarlos del pico temprano a tiempos.

Se honrarán nuestros Ciudadanos del Mes al Levantamiento y Asamblea de Brillo el 24 de septiembre a las 7:45 de la mañana se invitan Familia y amigos a venir.
Horas escolares: La clase empieza a las 7:45 es. Esto significa que su niño debe estar en clase cada uno y todas las mañanas en este momento. Se dan instrucciones durante el día la primera cosa por la mañana. Si su niño llega tarde, ellos se pierden este tiempo de la instrucción importante. Por favor traígalos a tiempo.
TARDIES: Los estudiantes son estar en clase a las 7:45. Muchos estudiantes están entrando tardío (7:55). Por favor tiene su niño aquí a través de 7:40 cada día. (Ellos pueden estar aquí ya en 7:25.)
DIARIAMENTE RECOJA: Gracias por su ayuda haciendo este exitoso, está corriendo más liso todos los días. Nosotros nos sentimos que ésta es una misma manera segura para su niño a ser recogido. Recuerde, la escuela está fuera a las 2:50, por favor sea a tiempo recoger a su niño.
BASE de la ESTRELLA: Las 5 clases de Calidad están envueltas con un Programa de Base de Estrella que los toma una vez al Guardia Nacional Aéreo y/o Ejército Aviación Apoyo Facilidad una semana durante 5 semanas. Éste es un programa fantástico que será disfrutado por Señora Jones' y Señora Bronceando clases. Las formas del permiso estarán viniendo casa pronto para su firma.
CLUB de las NOTICIAS BUENO: 3-4:30 todos los miércoles. El Club de las Noticias Bueno es patrocinado por el Compañerismo de Evangelización de Niño Inc. de Oklahoma Nordeste. Está abierto a todos los muchachos y muchachas, gradúa uno a través de seis, sin tener en cuenta el fondo religioso. Los padres son bienvenidos asistir al club con su niño. El Club incluirá Lecciones de la Biblia Dinámicas, Actividades de Aprendizaje Creativas, Historias Inspiradoras, y las Canciones Significantes. Su niño aprenderá Respeto para la Autoridad, Valores Morales, Calidades del Carácter, y Vida que Construyen a Principal. Los maestros son Christians que están interesado para el bienestar espiritual de su niño. Ellos han recibido especializado entrenando de CEF.
VISITANTES: Por favor haga su primera parada a la oficina. Nosotros lo damos la bienvenida venir a nuestra escuela, sin embargo nadie se permite ir más allá de la oficina sin firmar a la entrada. Ésta no sólo es una precaución de seguridad para su niño, pero para todos los niños a Peary. Por favor venga a la oficina para firmar a la entrada. Esto es para la seguridad de todos los estudiantes.
Nosotros también preguntamos que usted sólo entra y termina a través de las puertas delanteras. Las puertas traseras sólo son para la entrada del maestro. De nuevo, esto es por las razones de seguridad.
