Welcome to Robert E. Peary Elementary School's web site!

We hope you will enjoy reading about the goings-on of our 310 students and 30 staff members. We are located in east Tulsa, and feed to Lewis and Clark or Foster Middle Schools. Check our News page for upcoming events and information. Our Partners in Education, through the Tulsa Public Schools Adopt-A-School Program, are Tulsa East Child Support, RH Plumbing Co., Inc. and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma.



Our Mission

Peary School is teachers, students, parents, and the community working together to help children achieve their fullest potential by teaching them to:

bullet think and reason to solve problems
bullet develop competencies that will help them
get along in a changing world
bullet and, utilize positive life skills that will help
them affect their environment in positive
ways.

The vision of Tulsa Public Schools is to provide a quality educational experience for every student, every day, without exception.

Mrs. Vandenberg recieving award
Congratulations Mrs. Vandenberg

Mrs. Vandenberg was awarded the Walmart Market Teacher of the year award. She was selected by Walmart staff from entries made by students and parents. What an honor!! She was presented with a plaque and a walmart gift card worth $100 dollars. The school was also presented with a check for $1000 dollars and a new computer. Way to go Mrs. Vandenberg!!

Peary Readers' Club

Peary Readers' Club


Peary is pleased to begin our Peary Readers' Club again this year. To encourage reading among our young students Peary has purchased book bags for every student in Grades Pre-K through 2nd. Students will check out 2-3 library books every day to take home and share with their parents. We look forward to another successful year of reading!!
